McCulloch’s home for the past few months has been Victoria where he plays out of Bear Mountain as part of Golf Canada’s national junior team. He came to Storey Creek fresh off a win at the 2021 Glencoe Invitational in Calgary.
The Kingston, Ontario, native then posted a stellar, come-from-behind, final-round 67 that included an ace for a 9-under total to best Patrick Weeks of Vancouver.
Parksville’s Gavyn Knight, who won the 2021 B.C. Junior Boys Championship at Morningstar, made three straight birdies late in his round to finish third at 6-under par.
