Thrifty Foods Youth Golf Clinics A Big Win-Win

Going June 11th at Uplands - just before the Royal Beach Victoria Open - these low-cost clinics let kids learn about golf while supporting UVic student athletes…

With a history that goes back to 2004, the Thrifty Foods Youth Golf Clinics are a great partnership between Thrifty Foods and the University of Victoria Vikes.

Kids get to learn from the UVic Golf Team with the proceeds going to the Thrifty Foods Athletic Award, which supports student-athletes at the University of Victoria.

There are three clinics held at Uplands GC the day before the start of the Royal Beach Victoria Open at a cost of just $35 per child.

The hour-and-a-half long clinic includes:
- 1.5 hour clinic instruction by members of the UVic Vikes golf team, alumni and players teeing it up in the PGA of Canada tournament
- Two (2) week-long passes to the Royal Beach Victoria Open
- Thrifty Foods Youth Golf Clinic hat and shirt
- Two Vikes golf balls
- Snacks and a group photo
Plus two lucky registrants from each clinic will win one free golf lesson at Uplands Golf Club!
