Reliance Properties DCBank Open Qualifier Goes September 5th

One great round at Gorge Vale will earn five of the province’s high-level players a chance to tee it up at Uplands in late September 2021...

The Mackenzie Tour tournament, set to run from September 30 to October 3, has five spots out of 132 open to “Monday Qualifiers” or in this case... Sunday.

The one-day tournament is being managed by Jason Giesbrecht and the team at The GOLF Performance Project, “This date was chosen due to course availability and aeration schedules around town. This is a great opportunity for high-level players on the island and in BC.”

Due to the unusual date, it will make this much more of an opportunity for locals to qualify without having to compete against the usual “Tour-Level” players.

Giesbrecht explains why, “Because this date is unique three weeks ahead of the normal ‘Monday qualifier format,’ the normal flow of players following the tour will not exist thus giving local players one of the best opportunities to qualify for a Mackenzie Tour event.”

The field will be open to 90 players on a first-come, first-served basis. Entry is $249 plus GST with the proceeds going to the Victoria Salvation Army.
