Mood Swing Invitational Raising Awareness
Highland Pacific will be hosting the 2nd annual Mood Swing Golf Invitational next month to raise awareness and funds for mental health...
The Mood Swing Golf initiative aims to help improve people's lives through the game of golf.
The idea here is that golf provides a space for people to connect and share stories, not to mention promoting physical and mental exercise.
A major component of how this is achieved is the Mood Swing Golf Academy that teaches youngsters the fundamentals of the game and the importance of storytelling. Mood Swing Golf holds an annual Mood Swing Golf School at Highland Pacific Golf, bringing students from the Academy together for a physical and mental golf summit.
To help fund these - and raise awareness - an inaugural charity golf tournament was held at Highland Pacific GC last year where over $10,000 was raised directly benefiting the CMHA-Victoria and their efforts to raise awareness around mental health and help our communities' youth.
This year the Mood Swing Golf Invitational is looking to get 144 golfers to compete in two separate 9-hole shotgun events and connect in Highland Pacific Golf's Rustic Hall on October 14th, 2022.
Funds raised will again benefit CMHA-Victoria as well as the Courtnall Society for Mental Health.
