The Powell River native joins Crown Isle Resort as their new Head Professional...
Siminoff comes to the island from the Point Grey Golf and Country Club in Vancouver where he has spent the last few years as a PGA Professional. Before that, he worked at the nearby Shaughnessy G&CC for six years.
He brings an impressive resume that includes being named the 2019 Fred Wood Class “A” Professional of the Year Award for his outstanding leadership and service contributions to the PGA of BC. His education includes graduating from the Advanced Diploma Field Of Study Golf Operations at Camosun College.
“Crown Isle has been a special place for me since a young age and I can’t wait to join Bill Kelly [and] his team on the Island.” – Jared Siminoff, Twitter.
A self-proclaimed “stat connoisseur,” Siminoff actually delivered a seminar on Data-Driven Storytelling during the 2019 PGA of BC Education Series, the same year he joined the PGA of BC’s Board.
The move to Crown Isle will now see him just a short ferry ride from the Myrtle Point Golf Club where he was a member from his start in the sport at age six.
