Campbell River GC To Host Charity Event To “Drive Away Domestic Violence”

Campbell River Golf and Country Club is hosting the charity tournament in support of the Campbell River and Comox Valley Transition Societies.
According to event information, the tournament will raise funds to “help to continue much-needed programs and services that are provided for free to women, children, and families across the Comox Valley, Campbell River, and surrounding areas.” It is set to become an annual event.
Golf isn’t the only item on the event roster, however. An accompanying silent auction is set to begin on May 21, 2021, with dozens of prizes available.
Registration is now open for the scramble-format tournament with fees of $250 per player, or $1,000 for a team of four. Fees include green fees, a power cart, driving range access, a meal, and a welcome package.
