Cowichan GC Carves Out A Nice Celebratory Touch For 75th
The A.V. Macan design in the Cowichan Valley is celebrating a milestone with the addition of some beautiful wood sculptures...
The amazing carvings are the work of Chemainus resident Liam Tromans who is a “Master Chainsaw Carver” and actually participates in competitions.
Said GM Norm Jackson in a tweet about the carvings, “(It’s our) 75th anniversary and these carvings are a part of honouring our special celebration.”
In an interview with the Cowichan leader, Liam said, “I’ve been doing it for so many years it feels like I’m retired. It doesn’t feel like work. I try to keep it comfortable.”
For special carvings, he can come to your home or carvings can be done at his workshop.
