BC Golf Hall of Fame Member Steve Berry To Be Remembered

The remembrance will take place at 6:55 a.m., just prior to the first-round opening tee shot at Storey Creek Golf Club. A minute of silence and reflection to honour Berry will be observed and a bouquet of flowers, a recognition sign, and a Champion bag will be displayed at the first tee all day.
The 11-time member of the BC Willingdon Cup team won virtually every major amateur provincial championship possible... The BC Junior in 1972, the BC Amateur Championship in 1981, and the BC Mid Amateurs in 1994 and 1997.
Said Golf British Columbia CEO, Kris Jonasson in a press release, “Over the weekend, we learned of the sudden and unexpected passing of BC Golf Hall of Fame member Steve Berry. We were all truly saddened to hear this news. Steve was a fixture at our events over the years.”
